Today started a little slower due to the late evening the night before. For breakfast we headed toward the Mercado Municipal (municipal market). The market is a group of hundreds of individually owned booths that sold everything from individual peas to t-shirts to power tools to unrefrigerated meat. Classic Mexico. We bought some dry bean tacos for one peso each and toured the market, taking in the sights and sounds (and smells). Eventually we got back to the hostel in time to bring Dave's bike to the shop for some new tires, and headed to Spanish school. Today's lesson was definitely the hardest yet because both of our brains were still fried from yesterday. Viktor took it easy on us and was a great instructor. Thanks Viktor! After the Spanish lessons, we came back to the hostel for a siesta and some reading. Pretty chill rest of the day, with some simple tacos for dinner and a hot chocolate excursion in the evening with Alex, our hostel roommate. Maybe tomorrow we'll be more lively... Unlikely...
